About the role

For our team in Amsterdam we are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to strengthen our IT team. In this role you will be guided by our SVP Technology & Logistics and our IT Specialist.

As our new IT Systems Engineer your main motivation is to ensure that everyone can work with appropriate and innovative IT solutions within NOMOBO. You ensure advanced support, system implementation and well-operating maintenance environments throughout the company and beyond. You contribute to reliable delivery of digital tasks during our projects.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer, preferably with experience with Cisco Switches, Firewalls, Unifi controllers and APs Windows 11, macOS, VMware, HP Anywhare, ARS routers, G Workspace, Google Cloud and Jumpcloud for mobile device management and SSO/SCIM. Broadcast IT gear. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges and is passionate about Infrastructures & Broadcasting. 

As a Systems Engineer you will provide advanced support, system deployment and maintenance environments across the company and beyond.

The responsibilities

  • Designing and building innovative IT solutions MacOs and Windows.

  • Thinclient management: for post-production - update and control.

  • Network management for the entire office.

  • Synology server management: update & control.

  • IT/Broadcast - Infrastructure.

  • First-line support for all IT-related issues.

  • Encoders/decoders management and operation.

  • Macbook device management: ordering - preparing - cleaning - delivery.

  • Management of editing suite after production: update and check.

  • Gsuite management: user management policy - shared network drives.

  • Roll in update and manage AD servers ECT.

The requirements

  • You possess a clear and motivational communication style and are able to adjust your language naturally to the audience’s level.

  • Availability for 40 hours a week. Working hours according to changing project planning and may contain weekends and late night hours. 

  • Fluent in Dutch and English - required.

  • Able to make clear, concise decisions; sometimes without direct control.

  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work within our internal workflows.

  • A proactive and self-starting approach to responsibilities and tasks.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and hours (including evenings and weekends) to accommodate calls within the US time zone.

  • Living in or around Amsterdam.

  • You have a broad knowledge of ICT Technology and Networks and have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position.

  • Confidence and professionalism during client-facing calls.
