Sports Production & Planning Assistant
The role
With our rapid expansion into Sports and Esports, we are looking for a Production & Planning Assistant who lives and breathes the sports world. This isn't just a scheduling role; you will be the logistical heartbeat of our sports operations. While primarily office-based or remote, you may occasionally be asked to travel on-site to attend events and ensure our productions run like clockwork. Your primary focus will be the sports side of our business, ensuring our specialist crews across the Netherlands and Europe are perfectly staffed for high-stakes live broadcasts, while maintaining a seamless link to our post-production teams.
Key responsibilities
Sports-Centric Crewing: Lead the end-to-end freelancer lifecycle for our sports and esports projects, from initial outreach and fee negotiation to signed agreements.
EU-Wide Network Growth: Actively leverage and expand your existing network of broadcast freelancers, specifically within the Dutch and European sports production markets.
Talent Contracting & Management: Handle talent contracts and manage the end-to-end logistics for on-air talent, ensuring they are fully briefed and know exactly where they need to be and when.
Event Logistics: Organize travel, accommodation, and venue-specific requirements to ensure our teams and talent arrive ready to perform.
Post-Production Liaison: Bridge the gap between live sports events and final delivery by coordinating with the Post-Production team on all post-show deliverables.
Global Coordination: Sync schedules and communications between our US and NL teams to keep our sports-heavy calendar running flawlessly.
Requirements
The Ultimate Over-Communicator: You are a communication wizard who believes there is no such thing as "too much information." You are naturally direct and proactive in both Dutch and English.
Dutch Native/Fluent Speaker: Essential for effectively managing our local freelancer base and maintaining strong relationships within the Dutch market.
Sports DNA: A strong personal or professional affiliation with the sports/esports industry is non-negotiable.
Broadcast Paperwork Experience: Familiarity with PasC forms, music cue sheets, and copyright clearances.
The Network: Proven contacts within the Dutch and European broadcast freelancer community are a huge plus.
Precision: A razor-sharp, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
Tech Literacy: Proficiency in Google Sheets and modern Resource Management software.
What we offer
The Vibe: A fun, high-energy working environment filled with festival vibes and gaming culture. We work hard, but we keep the atmosphere creative and inspired.
The Rewards: A competitive salary, a solid pension plan, and a travel allowance.
The Perks: Daily lunch provided at the office, a brand-new MacBook with all necessary accessories, and 24 days of annual leave.
Impact: A front-row seat at the intersection of professional sports, global music festivals, and top-tier esports.
Modern Workspace: A flexible workflow with the ability to work from our NL office or remotely.
